Partner programme

Grow your business on our workplace intelligence

Workplaced supplies the platform, and implements and activates it. The advice, the measurement delivery in market, the fit-out, the change programme and the local relationship belong to you.

Hero illustration — partners

WHY WE WORK THROUGH PARTNERS

No one organisation owns the whole workplace lifecycle

We hold the evidence. You hold the client.

A workplace decision runs through real estate, HR, finance, design, construction and IT. The measurement is one thread through all of it and it is the thread we hold. Everything either side of it belongs to somebody who does that work every day.

Two questions decide how you work with us

First: what do you do? Place, people or technology — that is the expertise you bring. Then: how do you want to earn? Most partners are one of each.

What you doHow you earn
Consulting partner

You advise the client. The measurement, the benchmark and the scenarios come from us, and we stay behind you.

Solution partner

You sell and implement alongside your own products, with recurring licence income behind it.

Place experts

Real estate advisors, design and build, architects, IFM advisors, furniture.

You bid on a measured brief rather than on rapport, and post-occupancy evaluation becomes something you sell rather than absorb.

The programme of requirements comes out of the platform, so the fit-out is priced against evidence and the licence renews with the building.

People experts

Workplace consultants, hybrid work advisors, HR strategists, organisational psychologists, performance analysts.

The collection, cleaning and crunching stop eating the engagement. You bill the thinking, not the counting.

Your change programme runs on a live measurement your client keeps, which turns a project into a retainer.

Technology experts

Proptech, worktech, IT integrators, AV integrators, value added resellers.

Your signals land in one data model rather than in a second reporting layer, so the insight is attributable to your deployment.

You install and implement together, and the licence sits alongside the hardware instead of competing with it.

An architect is a place expert working as a consulting partner. An AV integrator is a technology expert working as a solution partner. Pick a row and a column and the pages behind them set out which phases you lead, which we lead, and where you normally join.

What that means across a project

You have picked a row and a column above. Now see what that means across a project: which phases that partner leads, which we lead, and which they sit out.

The whole process, and where each of us earns their place

One arc from the event that starts a project to the measurement that starts the next. Every phase shows what the Workplaced portfolio puts on the table and which partners are in the room. Pick a partner type above and the arc shows what changes for them.

  1. Trigger

A lease break, a merger, a complaint about the office. Something forces the question.

    Our portfolio here

    • Dynamics
    • Occupancy

A running baseline is what separates a trigger from an anecdote. Without one the conversation starts with whose impression is right.

  2. Change or not

Is there a real problem, and is it worth acting on? Most projects skip this and pay for it later.

    Our portfolio here

    • Dynamics
    • Occupancy
    • Balance

What people actually do, how full the building actually is, and what each option would cost. This is the phase our portfolio was built for.

Performance feeds the next decision

Where the line runs

Workplaced does implementation and activation. Getting the platform live, configured against your client's buildings and actually used, is part of the product rather than a service someone bills for. A platform that is bought and never adopted is a problem for both of us.

Everything on the other side of that line is yours: the advisory work, the interpretation, the measurement rounds in market, the space programme, the fit-out, the change programme and the client relationship. There is no Workplaced consultancy competing with you for those, and there will not be one.

How the money works

You keep the client

Register the opportunity before the first joint meeting and it is yours for the life of it, including the renewal and the second measurement round. We do not take a partner's client direct, and there is no house account team that could — which is a different thing from a promise that we would not.

Recurring licence, not a finder's fee

Commission is paid on the licence and recurs for as long as the contract does. A workplace decision comes back every few years; the second study is a second engagement, and the licence in between is income you did not have to sell twice.

Consulting partner: you bill your work, we bill the licence

You invoice the client for the advisory engagement. The licence is ours, with commission back to you. Nothing of yours moves onto our invoice.

Solution partner: you resell and implement

You hold the licence relationship and the implementation fee, at partner pricing. Which products, whose branding and who carries which responsibility are agreed before a joint engagement starts, not during one.

What the programme gives you

The benefits of joining the partner programme.

  • Marketing support

Demand generation and new lead sources.

  • Sales support

Support at every step, from onboarding through to close and after, including on the calls where the method gets questioned.

  • Training and certification

Training and certification, so the work you deliver holds up.

  • Knowledge base

Market insight, research results and whitepapers.

  • Network

New markets, and the other partners in the programme.

What each side brings

The exchange stated plainly, because a partner programme that only lists what you get is a reseller programme.

You bring

  • Specialist expertise in your discipline
  • Delivery capability in your market
  • The client relationship and the trust behind it
  • Sector knowledge the data cannot supply
  • Interpretation, which is the part the platform does not do

Workplaced brings

  • Measurement across space, activity and workforce
  • A benchmark dataset built since 2001
  • Six products on one data model
  • Implementation and activation of the platform
  • ISO 27001 certification and an aggregation-first architecture
  • Methodology certification for your consultants

Together

  • A proposal that opens with a method rather than a portfolio
  • A decision the client's board can defend
  • A second measurement, which is a second engagement
  • Recurring licence income alongside your fees
  • Work that compounds across buildings instead of restarting

From first conversation to first joint client

  1. A conversation about fit — week one

Your expertise and market, the clients you already serve, where our capability adds something, and who leads what. No deck required and nothing to prepare.

  2. One opportunity concrete enough to test on — weeks two to four

We would rather prove the model on a real client question than agree a framework in the abstract. Your regional director is in the room for it.

  3. Methodology certification — two days, then examined

Your consultants learn the method, are examined on it, and can then defend a result on its merits. Certification is what lets you deliver measurement rounds in your market rather than resell ours.

  4. Live, with the first joint proposal out — inside a quarter

Onboarding is handled personally by your regional director, in your market and usually in your language. There is no minimum volume and no exclusivity clause.

The directors of partnerships and alliances

The directors of partnerships and alliances are practitioners in workplace advisory, HR, real estate and corporate asset management. They handle onboarding personally, in your market and usually in your language.

Questions we get asked

  • Why work through partners?

Because no single organisation owns the whole workplace lifecycle, and pretending otherwise costs the client. Partners bring the advisory work, the local delivery, the design and build, the technology and the client relationship.

Workplaced brings the measurement, the method and the platform that makes the rest defensible.

  • What kinds of partner are there?

Three by expertise: place experts, people experts and technology experts. Two by commercial model: consulting partners and solution partners.

Each has its own page setting out which phases of the delivery lifecycle it leads, which we lead, and where it normally joins.

  • Does a partnership replace what we already sell?

No, and a partner programme that competes with its own channel does not last. The point is that you bid on evidence rather than rapport, and that post-occupancy evaluation becomes something you can sell rather than a courtesy you absorb.

  • How does a partnership start?

A conversation about fit: your expertise and market, the clients you already serve, where our capability adds something, who leads what, and a first opportunity concrete enough to test the model on.

  • Can we use Workplaced inside our own engagements?

That is what the solution and consulting models are for. Which products, whose branding, who holds the client relationship and who carries which responsibility are agreed before a joint engagement starts, not during one.

  • Which partners cover our country?

We do not publish partner coverage by country or segment. Naming partners per market creates channel conflict, and the enquiry is routed instead: tell us where you are and what you need and we will introduce the right one.

All questions

Let us map where we create more value together

Benjamin Wallace leads partnerships and alliances; your regional director handles onboarding personally. The first conversation is about which clients we would both be in front of, and nothing has to be prepared for it.
